Luxembourg has become the 17th country to join the international drone coalition, and this means new opportunities for Ukrainian manufacturers in unmanned aviation. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense, confirming Luxembourg's interest in joint development initiatives.
Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization, emphasized that the main goal of the coalition is to create a strategic advantage through the industrial production of FPV drones, which is aimed at meeting military needs in the most efficient way.
"Luxembourg not only joined the initiative, but also promises to actively promote the development of this industry, which is an important step in strengthening international partnership," added Chernogorenko.
We will remind that Ukrainian drone manufacturers recently received access to international tenders with the support of the coalition. This opened up an opportunity to participate in large-scale projects for the development and implementation of advanced technologies in the field of unmanned aviation.
It is noted that as part of the tender procedures, FPV drone manufacturers have the opportunity to present their developments until October 14, and for interceptor drones - until November 11. These projects will be considered by the member countries of the coalition in order to choose the most promising solutions.
The winners of the tenders will have the opportunity to test and evaluate their products, which can open the way to large-scale contracts for the supply of drones for the needs of international military and special services.
Thus, Luxembourg's participation in the drone coalition is an important step in the expansion of global cooperation in the field of high technology, which has the potential to significantly improve the effectiveness of military operations and security in the region.
