Ukrnafta's New High-Flow Well: A Major Step in the Development of the Industry

Public Joint-Stock Company "Ukrnafta" announced the completion of drilling a new well in eastern Ukraine, which demonstrates high production rates. According to the company's press service, the daily flow of the well is 66 tons of oil equivalent.

The well was planned as an exploration well, which emphasizes the strategic importance of the work on finding new energy deposits. All stages of drilling were carried out using its own drilling equipment, which indicates the technical potential of the company.

"Today, the flow of the new well reaches 68 thousand cubic meters of gas and 8 tons of condensate per day. This corresponds to 66 tons of oil equivalent," said Serhiy Koretsky, Director of PJSC "Ukrnafta".

The depth of the new well is 3,017 meters, which is an indicator of the high level of technical complexity of the work. The identified recoverable reserves are estimated at 244 million cubic meters of gas and 35 thousand tons of condensate.

Work on the new well confirms the company's ambitious intentions to increase energy production. This is especially important in conditions when ensuring Ukraine's energy independence is gaining strategic importance.

This success demonstrates the potential for the development of the extractive industry in Ukraine even in conditions of war and economic challenges. At the same time, Ukrnafta continues to contribute to strengthening the country's energy stability, opening up new opportunities for growth.
