Quick career change: retraining programs for Ukrainians launch

New opportunities for career growth: three free retraining programs have been launched, created to address the shortage of qualified personnel in the Ukrainian labor market.

Happy Monday together with Coursera announced the launch of new educational programs as part of the ReSkill UA project. These courses were created in cooperation with Ukrainian business leaders - Genesis, EY and Vodafone Ukraine. The goal is to train specialists who meet the current needs of companies.

The press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported on the new opportunities.

ReSkill UA is a unique online platform that allows Ukrainians to get a new profession or improve their skills in 3-6 months. The implementation of the program was made possible thanks to the cooperation of Happy Monday with Coursera with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program and the Ministry of Economy.

The program launched in June 2024. Its main goal is to overcome the personnel shortage that exists in the Ukrainian labor market and create new opportunities for the professional development of citizens.

ReSkill UA participants can choose one of the proposed areas of study. The courses are developed by leading Ukrainian companies and adapted for the Coursera platform. After completing the program, participants receive international certification and a diploma, which significantly increases their competitiveness in the labor market.

What does ReSkill UA offer?

- Technical and career support: webinars, consultations, internships and networking events from Happy Monday and partner companies.

- Access to the closed Hiring Solution resume database: recruiters from partner companies can directly search for specialists for open vacancies.

To become a participant in the program, you need to fill out a registration form and pass the selection. The program allows Ukrainians to take a significant step in their careers and adapt to the requirements of the modern labor market.
