Naftogaz achieved record gas production thanks to the latest technologies

"Naftogaz" group successfully launched a well, which demonstrates a flow rate of 170,000 cubic meters. m of gas per day, thanks to the implementation of simultaneous-separate operation (SOC) technology. Before the introduction of this technology, the productivity of the well was only 70 thousand cubic meters. m of gas per day, which emphasizes a significant increase in production.

As the press service of "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" reports, the success of this project became possible thanks to a comprehensive analysis of the geological model of the field. The general director of the company, Serhii Lagno, noted that before the implementation of the technology, detailed risk calculations were carried out and effective geological and technical measures were prepared.

After the analysis, it was decided to increase the volume of gas production by implementing a two-elevator scheme for the arrangement of pump-compressor pipes. Specialized equipment was also used to complete wells, which contributed to increased productivity.

"The use of ORE technology made it possible to develop another field horizon, which, in turn, led to an increase in gas production at this well," Lagno added, emphasizing the importance of innovation in achieving such results.

"Ukrgazvydobovaniya" also noted that since the beginning of the current year, ORE technology has been successfully implemented at other company facilities. According to estimates, additional gas production achieved thanks to this technology will exceed 50 million cubic meters by the end of the year. m.

These results demonstrate how the introduction of modern technologies in gas production can significantly increase the efficiency of the industry and ensure the country's energy security.
