The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine certified five schools for training UAV operators

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has successfully certified at least five private educational institutions specializing in the training of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators. This process took place within the framework of an experimental certification project that has been ongoing for a month. This was reported by Roman Korzh, head of the Ukrainian Association of Unmanned Aircraft Operators (UAUVO), in an interview with Delo.ua.

Among the certified schools, Korzh mentioned the SpecAero educational institution, which received certificate No. 5. This indicates that at least five training centers, including the Global Drone Academy, have successfully passed the certification. This step opens up new opportunities for training specialists in the field of unmanned technologies, which are becoming more and more in demand in the conditions of modern military conflicts.

In addition to private educational institutions, training centers for UAV operators are also being created under the auspices of the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Territorial Defense Forces. This is an important aspect, as it provides additional training of military personnel and strengthens the country's defense capabilities.

Korzh also noted that the capacities of certified schools within the commands are insufficient to cover the growing demand for training of UAV operators. This is caused by the active use of unmanned aerial vehicles in military operations, which requires trained specialists capable of effectively managing these technologies.

In general, the certification of educational institutions for the training of UAV operators is an important step in the development of defense education infrastructure in Ukraine. It will ensure not only high-quality personnel training, but also promote the introduction of innovative technologies into military affairs.

The introduction of training programs for UAV operators is also part of a broader strategy of the Ministry of Defense aimed at modernizing the military forces and adapting to new security challenges. This line of work becomes especially relevant in conditions where drones play a decisive role in modern military conflicts.
