However, in order to maximize the effect, it is important to select and use these products correctly, taking into account the individual characteristics of the skin.

    Scrubs usually contain abrasive particles that are responsible for the exfoliation process. This can be crushed apricot or nut seeds, sea salt, sugar or even artificial microparticles. These components are mixed with a base of cream, gel or cosmetic clay. For sensitive skin, it is better to choose scrubs with softer abrasives and a cream base, and for oily or combination skin, clay-based scrubs are suitable to help narrow pores and remove excess fat.

    Proper use of scrubs is the key to effective skin cleansing. The product should be applied to pre-cleaned skin, massaging in light circular motions. It is important to avoid the area around the eyes, as the skin in this area is very delicate and easily traumatized. For the body, there are also a number of recommendations: scrub should be applied from the feet and gradually go up, stimulating blood circulation and improving skin tone.

    Scrubs can be used not only for the face, but also for the body. It is especially important to pay attention to areas where the skin is prone to coarsening, such as elbows and heels. For these areas, you can use more intensive formulations and treatments, repeating them two to three times a week. Also, before the exfoliation procedure, you can steam the skin in a hot bath - this will facilitate the removal of keratinized particles and make the process more comfortable.

    In addition to store products, you can use homemade scrubs made from natural products. For example, sea salt combined with olive oil is a great option for the body. For the face, you can use coffee grounds, oatmeal or sugar. However, it is important to remember that for dry skin, coarser abrasives can be too aggressive, so you should favor softer ingredients such as oatmeal or dairy products.

    Finally, it's worth noting that exfoliating is not a daily routine. Using a face and body scrub once a week is enough to avoid irritation and drying of the skin.
