Three new industrial parks have been opened in Ukraine

Thanks to the operation of three new industrial parks in Volyn, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, about 4,500 new jobs will be created in Ukraine.

This is reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The decision to include the parks "Kovel Porto", "Dobrosyn" and "Green Laktik" in the Register of Industrial Parks was adopted by the Government at a meeting on July 5, 2024.

Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ noted that since the beginning of the year, 16 new industrial parks have already been added to the register — this is more than there were for the entire year in 2023 or 2022. This trend shows the growing interest of business in working within parks.

"And also that local authorities understand what additional opportunities the work of parks creates for the regional economy. The development of industrial parks is a component of the economic policy 'Made in Ukraine', so the state will provide comprehensive support for this direction. In particular, this year in the state budget for the development of industrial parks 1 billion hryvnias have been invested in parks," Kindrativ noted.

The industrial parks that have already started work will create favorable conditions for the development of enterprises and the attraction of investments, which, in turn, will contribute to the economic growth of the regions. In addition, such parks will help create a modern infrastructure for business, which is an important component for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Local communities expect that industrial parks will not only help attract investment, but also increase employment and contribute to the development of the local economy. It will also provide an opportunity to create new jobs and improve the socio-economic condition of the regions.
