Expanding opportunities: Ukrainians can now order driving licenses in five European countries

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, has announced that Ukrainians can now order driver's licenses in five new European countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Belgium and Switzerland.

This is in addition to 22 European countries where this service was already available. The order is completed quickly and easily through the Driver's Area in just a few clicks.

According to the Minister, the international delivery of driving licenses was introduced almost four months ago, and more than 3,500 citizens have already used this service, with the largest volume of orders in Poland - about 70%.

The process of ordering international delivery of driver's licenses is simple: authorization in the driver's account, selecting the reason for exchanging the license, choosing international delivery, specifying the receiving address and paying for the service.

After the application is received by the MIA service center, it is processed by the administrator. The finished driver's license is transferred to Ukrposhta, which sends it abroad to the specified address. The estimated delivery time is about 15 days.

The cost of international delivery of a driver's license is UAH 515 for the form and administrative service, and the logistics costs of the postal carrier abroad are UAH 960.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reminded that international delivery of driver's licenses is available to Poland, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Slovakia, Romania, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Italy.
