The "Work Without Barriers" program helped 5,000 IDPs find new jobs this year

Since the beginning of 2025, the State Employment Service of Ukraine has provided employment to 5,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) thanks to the "Work Without Barriers" program. This project has become a real catalyst for almost three thousand employers, who have received compensation in the amount of 108 million hryvnias.

The program, aimed at the social integration of IDPs, provides financial support to employers in the form of compensation for the employment of IDPs. In particular, for each employed person, the employer receives 8,000 hryvnias, which allows people to adapt to new living conditions faster.

The program pays special attention to IDPs with disabilities, for whom the period of compensation can be up to six months. This gives such people additional time to adapt to new working conditions and social environment.

To participate in the program, employers must conclude an employment contract with IDPs, ensuring their employment in accordance with the requirements of the law. An application for compensation can be submitted through employment centers or through the "Diya" portal, taking into account the restrictions of a five-day period from the moment of employment.

The "Work without Barriers" program is an important tool in promoting the social integration of IDPs in modern Ukrainian society. It not only helps to provide work for internally displaced persons, but also contributes to strengthening partnerships between business and the public, contributing to the economic growth and stability of the country.

Thanks to initiatives supported by the State Employment Service of Ukraine, Ukraine continues to move forward towards social justice and equal opportunities for all its citizens.
