Ukrainian Charitable Foundations Raised 28% More Donations in 2024

In 2024, the largest charitable foundations of Ukraine raised 24.1 billion hryvnias, which is 28% more than in the previous year. This was made possible thanks to the active support of citizens and international donors during the full-scale war.

According to Opendatabot, over the three years of the war, the largest Ukrainian foundations, such as Povernys zhivym, Prytula Foundation, and United24, raised a total of 93 billion hryvnias. This indicates a high level of national solidarity and citizens' desire to help the defenders of Ukraine during this difficult period.

The United24 platform raised the most funds in 2024, accumulating 17.5 billion hryvnias. In particular, 92% of these funds were directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which confirms the importance of helping the military in the fight against the aggressor.

The "Return Alive" Foundation collected 4.4 billion hryvnias in 2024, which is 18% of the total amount of donations. In addition, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation received 2.1 billion hryvnias in 2024, which is also an important support for humanitarian and military initiatives.

In addition to financial assistance, the logistics of humanitarian aid are also of great importance. Nova Poshta transported 63.9 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo in 1.9 million parcels in 2024. Compared to the first year of the full-scale war, when about 20 thousand parcels weighing 1.8 tons were sent monthly, last year this figure increased significantly: the average volume of shipments was 160 thousand parcels weighing 5.3 tons per month.

These achievements demonstrate the enormous contribution of Ukrainian citizens, international partners, and volunteer organizations to supporting the country in wartime. They testify to the resilience and unity of the Ukrainian people in the face of difficulties.
