The Armed Forces of Ukraine introduces the Safari HG-105M shotgun: new opportunities for protection and combating drones

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially introduced the new Safari HG-105M semi-automatic shotgun to the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which received the status of a weapon approved for use. This model has been codified and passed the necessary certification for further use in units of the Defense Forces. According to the press service of the department, the Safari HG-105M will be an effective addition to the arsenal of small arms of the Armed Forces.

The new Safari HG-105M shotgun is designed for use in the difficult conditions of modern combat. Thanks to its semi-automatic system, it can be used in a limited space, which makes it indispensable for close combat operations. In addition, when using hunting shot cartridges, this weapon will be an effective tool against enemy FPV drones, which are becoming more and more common on the battlefield.

The Safari HG-105M is equipped with a gas-piston mechanism and is made in a bullpup layout, which allows you to significantly reduce the overall length of the weapon without losing the length of the barrel. This design provides a balanced distribution of weight, which reduces the burden on the shooter, allowing more efficient performance of tasks during prolonged use. This is especially important for operations in the field, where the comfort and convenience of weapons are of great importance for the combat readiness of personnel.

The Safari HG-105M semi-automatic shotgun uses standard 12-gauge cartridges, which are widely available and cost-effective. It can also be equipped with magazines for 5 or 10 rounds, which gives fighters flexibility depending on the situation on the battlefield and the need to have quick access to additional charges. Such modularity allows you to adapt the weapon to different tasks and conditions.

An important aspect is the weight of the shotgun, which is just over 4 kg. This provides a comfortable weight for operational tasks and allows fighters to easily maneuver this weapon in rapidly changing combat conditions. Light weight also helps reduce fatigue, which is a critical factor in soldiers' effectiveness during long-duration missions.
