Modern Ukrainians, if they were to vote in the 1991 elections, would mostly support Vyacheslav Chornovil, according to a 2023 survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

The study found that among modern Ukrainians, 74% would choose Chornovil as president, while only 13% would vote for Leonid Kravchuk.

Among those who have decided and expressed their choice, 86% would vote for Chornovil, while 14% remained loyal to Kravchuk.

It is important to note that among those who were eligible to vote in 1991 (now aged 50+), 81% would vote for Chornovil, while only 10% would choose Kravchuk.

Interestingly, Chornovil would have won in all regions, indicating a wide distribution of support across the country.
