Active hostilities in Kharkiv region: overview of the situation

Ukraine has faced an increase in enemy offensives in the Kharkiv region, particularly in the Kupiansk direction. This was reported by Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar on her Telegram channel. According to the report, fierce fighting continues, with the parties actively changing their positions. The Ministry of Defense also emphasized that Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut sector are gradually moving forward, especially on the southern flank around Bakhmut.

On the northern flank, Ukrainian defense forces are trying to hold their positions as the enemy is actively attacking. In Bakhmut itself, enemy shelling was registered, to which Malyar noted that the Ukrainian military responded with fire.

The enemy continues offensive actions at the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. Ukrainian forces continue to effectively deter the enemy, and the fighting continues without changing the situation. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is concentrating its actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. There were 39 combat engagements over the last day.

Ukrainian troops are successfully holding the line in the Kupyansk sector. The enemy is conducting an offensive south of Novoselivske, Luhansk region, and launched an air strike. Artillery and mortar attacks were recorded in Dvorichna, Krasnyi Pershyi, Kolodyazne, Zakhidnyi, Novomlynsk, Kyslivka and Berestove, all in the Kharkiv region.

In the Liman sector, the enemy is conducting offensive actions east of Vesele, Donetsk region. Russian troops carried out air strikes in the areas of Nevske and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, as well as Spirne, Vesele, Ivano-Daryivka, Fedorivka and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region. Enemy artillery attacks were registered in Nevske and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, as well as Verkhnekamianske, Torske, Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled all enemy attacks southwest of Andriivka, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out air strikes near Kostyantynivka and Diliyivka. There were more than 15 attacks from enemy artillery, which hit Markove, Khromove, Diliyivka, Vasyukivka and Pivnichne.

In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy attempted to advance in the vicinity of Pervomaiske and carried out air strikes near New York. There were also more than 15 artillery attacks, among which Nevelske, Pervomayske, Stepove, Severne and Avdiivka were hit.

In the Mariinka sector, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the vicinity of Mariinka. Air strikes were registered there. Over 10 localities were also shelled, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Katerynivka and Heorhiivka.

This threatening situation underscores the need to strengthen security measures and mobilize efforts to protect the national territory. Ukraine continues to cooperate with the international community, including partners and allies, to ensure security and stability in the region.
