Russian invaders plan to put their currency - rubles - in circulation in temporarily occupied Kherson region starting from April.

This was announced by the Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Sergiy Khlan: "Starting from April, the occupants in Kherson region are planning to put rubles in circulation. They will be forcing people to accept rubles in shops and will, most likely, pay salaries to the 'new administration'. I think that it might come to ruble salaries in the existing budgetary and municipal institutions. Little by little Kherson region is being drawn into the ruble zone." The Deputy called upon citizens to ignore payments in rubles.
